The University of St. Thomas football program has partnered with Midco Sports to live stream all home football games through Midco Sports Plus and the Midco Sports Plus App in 2023, the school announced earlier this week.

The announcement came several days after the Summit League, in which most St. Thomas sports participate, had partnered with Midco to create the Summit League Network (SLN).

“We are very excited to extend our relationship with a trusted partner in Midco,” says Phil Esten, director of athletics at St. Thomas. “This streaming deal will not only provide national exposure for our football program, but will also provide continuity and a centralized St. Thomas athletics streaming platform to our fan base.”

Subscriptions to the service will cost $9.99 per month or $79.99 for an annual plan. Those plans are priced the same as subscriptions to the Summit League Network and fans will be able to access other conference events at no additional cost. St. Thomas football had previously been streamable for free at tommiesports.com.

Per the agreement, fans will be able to access the Tommies’ program through the app via phone, tablet, TV and web-based browser or via AppleTV, Fire TV and Roku.

Most Tommie sports are part of the Summit League, but three are not. St. Thomas football participates in the Pioneer League. St. Thomas men’s hockey plays in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). Its women’s program plays in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). Their games will continue to be streamed through FloHockey and BTN+, according to the Tommies’ release.
