The Western Collegiate Hockey Association this week promoted Dean Thibodeau to assistant commissioner for operations.

The title covers both the conference’s men’s and women’s leagues.

“Dean Thibodeau has had a significant impact on WCHA operations in his two years with the league,” said Men’s League Commissioner Bill Robertson and Women’s League Commissioner Jennifer Flowers in a joint statement. “His work in the areas of human resources, finance, league and event operations has improved the efficiency of both leagues and has resulted in a higher level of service for our member institutions.”

Thibodeau joined the WCHA office in July 2018 as operations and administration manager and had previously served in various roles at Minnesota, Wisconsin and St. Cloud State.
