The National Football League and Sportsradar have expanded their existing relationship through which the distribution of league data and content will be available to more fans around the world.

Sportsradar has been the NFL’s official distributor of official play-by-play statistics and its proprietary Next Gen Stats player tracking data to media outlets since 2015.

The company’s global headquarters is in St. Gallen, Switzerland, but its U.S. headquarters is in Minneapolis, where the company has about 270 employees.

The partnership had previously included the creation of Sportsradar’s Radar360 research platform, which is used by the league, its member clubs and media outlets.

The renewal expands upon that to include the exclusive distribution of real-time official play-by-play data and Next Gen Stats data to sports betting operators in the U.S. and internationally, where sports betting is legal and regulated.

Additionally, Sportsradar will have the right to distribute live audio-visual game feeds to sportsbooks in some international markets. And the league will use Sportsradar’s comprehensive integrity services to monitor betting across NFL games.

“We are confident we will maximize our strong partnership with the NFL our strong partnership with the NFL and deliver ground-breaking products across the gaming, fantasy and the media worlds,” says Carsten Koerl, CEO of Sportsradar. “We are ideally positioned to support the NFL in providing innovative products to enhance the way fans experience the game and help maintain the continued integrity of the NFL competition.”
