Andrew Miller, currently executive vice president of the Toronto Blue Jays, will become the Minnesota Vikings’ chief operating officer starting September 1.
Miller will replace Kevin Warren, who recently was named Commissioner of the Big Ten.

In Toronto, where Miller has been for the last four seasons, he was responsible for managing all business operations for the team and its ballpark, the Rogers Centre. He focused on understanding and enhancing the fan experience, led the implementation of new business departments focused on fan engagement, fan services, strategy and analytics.
He also oversaw capital improvements at Rogers Centre and the Blue Jays spring training facilities in Dunedin, Fla.

Miller previously spent 10 years with the Cleveland Indians, where he focused on fan initiatives as baseball operations assistant, assistant director of baseball operations, assistant to the team president and senior vice president of strategy and business analytics. He created Snow Days, an interactive winter event, and executed the first outdoor hockey game at Progressive Field.
Prior to that, Miller spent seven years in the investment banking and venture capital industries.
