Hometown hero, Olympian and four-time WNBA champion Lindsay Whalen will add another line on her resume tonight when she joins Fox Sports North’s broadcast of the Timberwolves/Clippers game tonight.

This will be the first of eight telecasts on which  Whalen will participate. She’ll join Dave Benz and Jim Petersen courside and serve as a second analyst providing insight on the game.

She also will join Wolves Live to provide viewers with one-on-one interviews and content.

The Hutchinson native has participated in the WNBA All-Star game five times, won two Olympic Gold medals and remains the all-time leading scorer for the University of Minnesota women’s basketball team.

She joined the Minnesota Lynx in 2010.

Whalen also will appear during games on Dec. 12, Jan. 1, Jan. 14, Feb. 7, Feb. 23, March 2 and April 5.
