The Minnesota Twins’ radio broadcasts will return to WCCO Radio, which was the team’s home for its first 46 years, after an 10 season absence.

Not that there was any reason to doubt the Star Tribune’s reporting, but an industry source confirmed the news for us this evening. It will be officially announced Friday morning.

The team moved from WCCO to KSTP (AM-1500) in 2007 and stayed there for six seasons and then moved to the FM dialĀ  in 2013 at Go 96.3.

WCCO, according to the Star Tribune, is expected to keep Cory Provus and Dan Gladden together as the radio broadcasting team. They have been together since 2012.
