Jonah Stillman, who co-authored the book “Gen Z @ Work: How the Next Generation is Transforming the Workplace,” has been engaged by the Minnesota Vikings to assist with a variety of club business initiatives through the lens of the Gen Z population.

He’ll work with the team on marketing and fan activation efforts, the Vikings Entertainment Network and digital media content and strategy, on the fan experience at U.S. Bank Stadium, on STEM opportunities with future Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center and on workplace culture.

“Jonah has approached his career as a Gen Z advisor, author and speaker with professionalism and passion, and as a lifelong Vikings fan that lives in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market, he has a rare perspective that we believe can positively impact our organization and our younger fan base,” says Kevin Warren, chief operating officer.

Stillman graduated from Minnetonka High School in June. Forbes recently named him one of the top five Gen Z entrepreneurs to watch. He and his father David, with whom he wrote the book, travel the country working with organizations to understand the latest generation to enter the workforce.

“It is a testament to the Vikings to think creatively and explore differing viewpoints, including those of recent high school graduates who want to make a positive impact in the professional world,” Stillman says, in a statement released by the team. “I look forward to interacting with all departments to fully understand the Vikings organization and to offer ideas geared toward Generation Z.”

People born between 1995 and 2012 are considered Generation Z.
