We’ll be hearing about the Super Bowl in Minnesota pretty much
non-stop between now and the end of the NFL season.
One of the ongoing events over the next few weeks celebrating the Twin Cities’ hosting of the big game will be the statewide tour being taken by Jostens’ produced Super Bowl rings from the past and present.
The Bloomington-based ring-maker has made 33 of the 51 Super Bowl championship rings, including the first one awarded to Green Bay and the last one won in February by New England.
The traveling tour started Sept. 5 in downtown Minneapolis during the lead-up to Vikings gameday on Monday. Remaining stops include:
Paul Bunyan Mall, Bemidji: Sept. 13-18
Steele County History Museum, Owatonna: Sept. 19-24
Duluth Entertainment Convention Center: Sept. 25-Oct. 1
Mayo Clinic, Rochester: Oct. 2-6
Science Museum of Minnesota, St. Paul: Oct. 7-16
Mall of America, Bloomington: Oct. 17-29
St. Cloud State University: Oct. 30-Nov. 5
